Dr. Adam Frederic Dorin is a board-certified anesthesiologist with 23 years of private practice experience to his credit. Since completing his residency at the John Hopkins Hospital in 1993, he has set up and run Ambulatory Surgery Centers(ASCs) on both coasts and has worked as both chief of service and Medical Director of several departments.He has also volunteered as an Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) surveyor for 8 years, while personally performing anesthetics during over 26,000 procedures. He has broad experience in all aspects of anesthetic care, including obstetrics, pediatrics, regional anesthesia and basic pain management.
Dr. Dorin has set up and run several pro-patient, pro-physician educational forums and has founded a national non-profit organization. He is the author of a published non-fiction volume, multiple textbook chapters, and over 300 medical and lay journal articles. He will soon be launching a new project through his non-profit, America's Medical Society, Inc., that will help to empower healthcare consumers across the nation.
Dr. Dorin has three wonderful grown children, Phillip, Alex and Emily, and a newborn baby boy, Zeke.
